The universe (which others call the Library) is composed of a number indefinite and perhaps infinite number of hexagonal galleries, with vast air shafts between, surrounded by very low railings.
Like all men of the Library, I traveled in my youth, I wandered in search of a book, perhaps the catalog of catalogs, now that my eyes can hardly decipher what I write, I prepare to die in a few leagues from the hexagon in which I was born.

Library is unlimited and cyclical. If an eternal traveler were to cross in any direction, after centuries that the same volumes were repeated in the same disorder (which, repeated, would be an order: the Order. My solitude is gladdened by this elegant hope.
