After the success of Tigermilk , Belle & Sebastian signed with independent label Jeepster Records in August 1996 , being in November of that year's release of second album If You're Feeling Sinister . This album was named by Spin magazine one of the 100 greatest albums between the years 1985-2005 while Pitchfork Media put the disk in place 14 of the 100 best albums of the 90s .
For many it is regarded as the masterpiece of the band.
This album includes a new musician to the band: Sarah Martin ( Violin / Vocals ).
